Shazia has over 18 years experience in the Education industry – teaching, research and training being her key focus areas.
She was Head of MBA Department at the autonomous G H Raisoni College of Engg. campus at Nagpur. She has been associated with the Raisoni group in various capacities for eight years with growing responsibilities. She has been a visiting faculty for Human Resource Management at other management institution and regularly conducts counseling and personality development workshops for students and training programs for teachers.
She has organized and attended Management Development Programs for management students in India , Singapore and Malaysia.
She is the founder of eduSTEPS. An initiative to provide Education & Systematic Training for Empowerment through Parallel Studies . EduSTEPS conducts training programs, career guidance, Arabic & Urdu language classes, summer camps for Muslim children & youths . She is also successfully running her preschool chain, STEPS Playschool since last nine years and recently also ventured into primary education.
She holds a Ph.D in MBA in Human Resource and Marketing (2013) from Nagpur University and double Bachelor degrees in Mathematics (1996) and in Education (2001). She is UGC NET qualified for Lecturer in Management (2007). Her doctorate is in the area of academic performance excellence developing models to measure contribution of academicians in growth of professional education. She has been a distinction holder throughout and actively participated in sports and other extra-curricular activities.
She has participated extensively in workshops and faculty development programs on Leadership, Case Writing, Six Sigma, Statistical Tools in Research etc. winning best participants awards consistently.
She has presented research papers/participated in National Conferences & Seminars. She has a passion for reading, writing articles and organizing events.
